Trophy name:O'Sullivan Cup
First presented:1958
Inscription:O'Sullivan Cup - Presented by "Paddy" Bahrain 1957-58

Miss Maureen "Paddy" O'Sullivan was a nurse then matron at Awali Hospital (see The Islander edition of February 7th 1957), resident of House 150 and an avid golfer. She was the first (and so far only) lady President of AGC.

She joined BAPCO in 1937 and became its first female employee to serve for 20 years in Bahrain. This was reported in The Islander article of 30th August 1956, here. She retired in 1960 from Bapco after 23 years service, still a Miss O'Sullivan.

A report in The Islander or April 17 1958 refers to the presentation of the trophy to the Club:
O'Sullivan Cup. This new trophy is open to all the lady golfers only, it is strictly a scratch-play competition, being played from April 16th to 18th.

It appears that prior to the donation of this trophy (and the Pinhey Cup and the Ayto Cup), there was no off-scratch knockout Competition specifically for ladies - knockouts were split into Flight-1 and Flight-2 (with the winners gaining the Kingsbury Cup and the Deacon Shield respectively).
